Bob Beauchamp is president and CEO of BMC Software, Inc. He joined the company in 1988 as a sales executive, and rose rapidly through the company, leading key business functions including research and development, strategic marketing and corporate development. He was named CEO in 2001, a role he held until 2016. He served as chairman of the board from 2008-2018. He returned as president and CEO in April 2019.
During his first tenure as BMC’s CEO, he completed 42 acquisitions, which helped expand the company from its origins as a mainframe tools vendor to its current position as a global leader in innovative software solutions. Today, the company offers a range of industry-leading solutions in cloud computing, automation, data analytics, and service management, including software-as-a-service products, as well as products that use artificial intelligence and machine learning to improve IT management.
Bob also serves on the boards of Raytheon, Anaplan, ThoughtTrace, and Forcepoint. He previously served on the boards of TransUnion, National Oilwell Varco, and Baylor University.
Bob holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Texas at Austin. He earned a master’s degree in management from Houston Baptist University, and in 2001 was given their Distinguished Alumnus Award. In 2012, Bob was honored with an Ernst & Young regional Entrepreneur of the Year award for his work as a transformative CEO.
Jason Andrew is senior vice president for ESO Global Sales for BMC Software, Inc. He is responsible for worldwide sales for the company’s Enterprise Solutions Organization business unit.
Jason began his BMC career first as a partner in his native New Zealand, and then joined the company in Australia in 1998. He served as a principal software consultant in the Asia Pacific region, then accepted an R&D role at the company’s global headquarters in Houston.
After another tour in Asia Pacific, he returned to the US and held a variety of sales roles, including leading the channels, outsourcers and system integrators group, the Americas direct sales organization, and marketing for all of BMC. He also led sales for the US West and Latin America.
Jason’s tenure at BMC also included a London-based assignment where he served as general manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa for four years. Prior to his current role as head of global sales, Jason led sales for the Americas.
Jason holds a bachelor’s degree in business studies from the University of Auckland, New Zealand.
Ram Chakravarti serves as the chief technology officer for BMC Software, Inc., on assignment from KKR Capstone. In this role, he oversees BMC’s overall technology strategy, common architecture, corporate development, and shared services including user experience design, quality assurance, and cyber security.
Ram joined KKR Capstone in 2018 to focus on value creation in KKR’s technology investments in private equity and growth equity.
Previously, Ram was an associate partner at McKinsey & Company where he established McKinsey’s Digital Architecture Service Line in North America. Prior to that, Ram was a director of architecture at both Oracle and IBC. Earlier in his career, Ram led complex ERP and CRM deployments at a fortune-100 organization, co-founded a company, and worked at Oracle, Ariba (now part of SAP), and technology startups in software engineering roles.
Ram holds master’s degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and the Indian Institute of Science. He co-authored a book on R&D and IT portfolio management which has been used in graduate programs at the University of Pennsylvania and other schools in the US.
Imran Khan is senior vice president of Customer Success at BMC Software, Inc. He leads the company’s Services and Education business, Services Sales, the Customer Support organization, and the Chief Customer Office function.
Previously Imran was senior vice president of global services and a member of the executive team at JDA Software, a supplier of software to world-class retailers and manufactures. Imran’s 1,500-strong organization was responsible for providing consulting and strategic services to most of the globe’s top supply chains, with services accounting for a third of JDA’s revenue.
Prior to JDA Imran was vice president for worldwide network consulting at Hewlett Packard where he was responsible for developing the industry’s leading networking consulting business, including a strategy and operating plan that supported the new HP networking product set. Earlier Imran was vice president of global services at 3Com Corporation, running all aspects of 3Com’s service business, including training and education, and was a leader and key collaborator on the integration team that managed 3Com’s acquisition by HP.
Imran is a qualified accountant and holds a degree in business and finance from the University of Middlesex, United Kingdom.
Bill Miller is president of ZSolutions and Select Technologies/Mid-Market for BMC Software, Inc. As head of ZSolutions, Bill has full P&L responsibility for the company’s suite of industry-leading Automated Mainframe Intelligence (AMI) solutions including DB2, IMS, MainView, Security, MLC Cost Reduction, Predictive Analysis, and Root Cause Analysis.
Previously, Bill served as BMC’s chief operating officer, president of its Mainframe Solutions Management business unit, and general manager of Data Management.
Bill joined BMC from BindView Development, where he was senior vice president and chief operating officer. Earlier in his career, Bill spent 21 years at IBM, where he held a variety of positions including in sales, marketing and general management.
Bill earned a Bachelor of Science in engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Dallas.
President, Digital Service and Operations Management
Nayaki Nayyar is the president of the Digital Service and Operations Management product line at BMC Software, Inc., where she is leading BMC’s evolution into the cognitive era with the transformation of IT service management and IT operations management driven by artificial intelligence and machine learning. In this role, she has been instrumental in driving double-digit cloud growth with the release of the latest innovations in the BMC Helix suite on a cloud-agnostic containerized platform with embedded AI/ML capabilities.
Prior to joining BMC, Nayaki served as general manager and global head of SAP’s Internet of Things division. She also held senior management positions in strategy, and she was the senior vice president of SAP’s cloud business unit, where she drove significant growth in the company’s cloud, CRM, and mobile business unit. Nayaki gained tremendous industry experience during her tenures at Shell and Valero, and she was instrumental in Valero’s rapid growth into the largest independent refining company in North America.
She holds a B.E. in mechanical engineering from Osmania University (India) and an M.S. in computer science from the University of Houston, and she is a graduate of the Stanford Executive Program. Nayaki also serves on the board of Veritone, one of the leading providers of an operating system for artificial intelligence.
Eric Olmo is senior vice president for People and Spaces for BMC Software, Inc.
Eric joined BMC in 2004 and currently oversees the company’s global human resources, real estate and facilities, community relations, employee communications, and security functions.
Prior to BMC, Eric served as a senior human resources leader for Gateway. Earlier in his career, Eric held analyst roles with the Federal Reserve Bank.
Eric holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and political science from Kansas University. He also holds a Masters of Business Administration and a Juris Doctorate from Kansas University. He is a member of the Kansas Bar.
Steve Solcher is the senior vice president of Finance and Business Operations and chief financial officer for BMC Software, Inc.
Prior to being named SVP of Finance and CFO in 2005, Steve served as the company’s treasurer and was a vice president of Finance. He joined the company in 1991 as assistant treasurer and became treasurer the following year. During his tenure, BMC grew from nearly $130 million in annual revenue to $2.2 billion in annual revenue in 2013, its last year operating as a public company. In addition to leading many M&A acquisitions as CFO, Steve was instrumental in BMC’s transition from being a publicly traded company to becoming a private held company in 2013.
Previously, he was employed by Arthur Andersen as a certified public accountant.
Steve is a member of the board of directors of Main Street Capital Corporation, and he also serves on the development board of the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University. He was recognized by the Houston Business Journal as 2012 Best CFO–Large Public Company.
Gur Steif is the president of the Digital Business Automation product line for BMC Software, Inc. Under Gur’s leadership, the business has tripled in size.
Previously, Gur was the general manager and vice president for the precursor to Digital Business Automation, the Workload Automation product line, as well as the Performance & Availability business line. During this time, he grew the Workload Automation business at triple the market growth rate while also delivering a double-digit increase in customer satisfaction for Performance & Availability.
In his 25-year career in technology, Gur has held leadership roles in strategy, product management, R&D, sales, marketing and M&A in IT operations management, application management and workload automation.
Gur holds a Master of Business Administration from Tel Aviv University and has more than 25 years of experience in systems management and data center automation.
Patrick Tagtow serves as BMC’s general counsel, corporate secretary and chief compliance officer.
Prior to being named general counsel, Patrick served as BMC’s vice president of litigation and compliance with responsibility over global litigation management, legal and regulatory enterprise risk management and BMC’s compliance and ethics program.
He joined BMC in 1999 from the law firm of Haynes and Boone, L.L.P. where he practiced commercial and employment litigation.
Patrick received a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Texas at Austin, as well as a master’s of business administration and doctorate of jurisprudence from the University of Houston. He has been practicing law since 1993.
Michael Beaver is senior vice president of Sales and Customer Success for ZSolutions at BMC Software, Inc. He has global responsibility for sales, customer success and enablement. Michael brings more than 20 years of experience building and leading high-performing teams along with developing go-to-market strategies that result in exceptional customer experiences.
Michael joined BMC in 1999 and has been promoted to roles with increasing responsibility, including overseeing new product specialists, leading the strategic accounts and global outsourcers team, and most recently serving as head of sales for the Americas.
Michael has served in a variety of leadership roles in public, private, and venture-backed technology companies. He was vice president of sales for geoscience software company Paradigm, and vice president for early stage hyper-converged hardware start-up Pivot3. Prior to that, Michael was director of sales for Hewlett-Packard.
Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Texas A&M University.
Cory Bleuer is senior vice president, controller and chief accounting officer for BMC Software, Inc.
Cory joined BMC in 2006 and currently oversees the company’s global accounting and financial reporting, revenue recognition and revenue operations, financial shared services, OEM finance and financial information services functions.
Prior to BMC, Cory served as vice president and controller of EMC Corporation's Captiva Software group, a position he assumed following EMC’s acquisition of Captiva Software Corporation where he was vice president and corporate controller. Earlier in his career, Cory held financial leadership roles with Fair Isaac Corporation and HNC Software, Inc. and was an audit and business advisory manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP.
Cory serves as the executive sponsor of BMC’s partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.
Cory holds a bachelor’s of business administration degree with an accounting concentration from Indiana University. He is a CPA and CGMA and a member of Financial Executives International.
Scott Crowder is chief information officer for BMC Software, Inc. He is responsible for the company’s Information Services and Technology group, which provides business applications, end user support, production and R&D cloud infrastructure, unified communications, information security and service governance.
The IS&T group serves as “Customer Zero” for BMC’s full line of IT operations management software. As Customer Zero, the IS&T group runs all current versions in production and also works closely with the company’s R&D teams to provide feedback on product roadmaps and test new versions in development.
Scott has more than 30 years of experience in product development, service delivery and assurance for information technology organizations. Prior to joining BMC, Scott was vice president of data center operations at Blackbaud where he was responsible for delivering managed services, SaaS CRM, CMS and eCommerce services for approximately 12,000 customers. Previously, he held IT leadership positions in high technology companies that included Sprint, Akamai, Inktomi, MIH (Entriq) and Kintera.
Scott holds two patents related to digital media. He is a veteran of the U.S Air Force.
Senior Vice President, Customer Experience and Presales
Jeff Hess is the senior vice president of Customer Experience and Presales. He is responsible for the customer experience, which includes value engineering, solution engineering, centers of excellence, sales enablement and BMC’s Executive Briefing Centers.
Prior to joining BMC, Jeff was the global senior vice president of value engineering at SAP leading a dynamic, cutting-edge presales team in driving the vision to value for customers. His main focus was building the vision for change, the roadmap to value and the business case for transformation for all SAP solutions.
Jeff holds a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Delaware and an MBA in finance from Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
Senior Vice President, ZSolutions Strategy and Innovation
John McKenny is senior vice president of ZSolutions Strategy and Innovation for BMC Software, Inc. He is responsible for strategy, R&D, product management, and marketing for the company’s industry-leading suite of mainframe solutions.
John joined BMC in 1995 as a member of the R&D team and has been promoted to various senior leadership positions including chief of staff for the Office of the COO and a director of mainframe R&D. Most recently, he served as vice president of product management, customer service and marketing for the ZSolutions business unit.
Prior to joining BMC, John spent 15 years in various technical, management, and IT consulting roles in the transportation and insurance industries.
Saar Shwartz is chief marketing officer for BMC Software, Inc.
Saar joined BMC in 1999 through the company’s acquisition of the industry-leading Control-M solution. Early in his career, he worked in R&D for Control-M and, after joining BMC, progressed through roles in product management and marketing. Prior to being named CMO, Saar led strategic marketing for BMC and was a significant contributor to the company’s 2014 rebranding following its privatization.
Prior to his BMC career, he spent six years as an officer in the Israeli Air force working with complex, real-time software systems for combat airplanes.
Saar has a bachelor’s in business administration and marketing from the University of Houston. He also studied aeronautical and space engineering at Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.
